Almost half of London Square Eastcote sold in four weeks

25th April 2014

Over 20 of the 45 stylish apartments at London Square’s exclusive new development in Eastcote have been sold off-plan in just under four weeks. Attracted by the development’s location – just 300 metres from Eastcote underground station, offering convenient transport links into central London – a mixture of first-time buyers, downsizers and investors have snapped the properties up.

The off-plan sales success at the development, which will feature a mixture of one, two and three-bedroom apartments in this vibrant corner of north-west London, reflects the high demand from homebuyers and canny investors for smart new homes in London. The development is scheduled for completion in spring 2015.

Rebecca Littler, Sales and Marketing director of London Square, said: “Sales at London Square Eastcote have exceeded expectations. A combination of demand for homes in the capital at present, coupled with its well-connected location has made the development a very attractive purchase for those working in the capital or downsizers looking to have great amenities on their doorstep.”

The secure gated development will have a quiet and tranquil landscaped setting just a stone’s throw from the bustling shops and restaurants of Eastcote’s buzzing high street, which retains a unique village charm, with a wealth of independent restaurants, pubs and cafés.

London Square Eastcote is perfectly positioned for effortless commuting to the heart of the capital, with Eastcote underground station just a five minute walk from the scheme, served by both the Metropolitan and Piccadilly lines, offering a fast connection into Baker Street in just half an hour and Kings Cross in less than 40 minutes. Road travel is also very convenient with both the A3 and A40 close by, linking to the M25. Meanwhile, London Heathrow is just 13 miles away.

The development, designed by Stanford Eatwell architects, will feature traditional smart red brick and render façades that blend with the area’s vernacular. Interiors to the high specification apartments will be light and bright, featuring the latest trends in contemporary London living – such as open plan living areas, underfloor heating, bespoke designer kitchens and bathrooms, and all the latest technology including Sky+. Some of the apartments will have outside space or balconies. Meanwhile, each apartment comes with its own underground parking space.

Eastcote has much to offer for leisure and relaxation. There is a choice of gyms, a thriving cricket and tennis club, as well as Warrender Park, which is the perfect place for walking, running and picnics. The historic charm of Eastcote House Gardens, an award-winning area of public parkland is the perfect place for nature-lovers. The gardens are lovingly maintained by a group of volunteers – a true testament to the strong community spirit in Eastcote.

Prices start from £399,995 for a two bedroom apartment.
