London Square hosts local business forum at Staines Upon Thames

1st October 2018

Spelthorne Business Forum, the partnership organisation between Spelthorne Borough Council and local companies, recently hosted members of the business community for an evening of networking at the sales suite for London Square Staines Upon Thames, the £120 million regeneration scheme transforming the high street.

The development is replacing outdated offices and set to revitalise the area, with a stunning new piazza,  new homes, retail and communal space. The collection of contemporary studios, one, two and three bedroom private apartments are in four striking buildings, linked by a central courtyard garden and will include a pocket park with children’s playground and attractive landscaped areas, along with flexible co-working commercial space.

Sanjay Sharma, Head of Development at London Square, gave a talk to the Spelthorne Business Forum on progress at the site, with the completions of the first phase when residents can move in set to take place early next year.  In addition, he discussed plans for the next phase, where construction is due to start later this year and invited attendees to ask questions and visit the showhome in the marketing suite. Following the talk, networking was held for the rest of the evening.

Rebecca Littler, Sales and Marketing Director at London Square, said: “These events run by Spelthorne Business Forum are a great opportunity for businesses across the district to catch up and learn about the exciting work they’re doing. We really value our relationship with the council, local businesses and wider community, so we were thrilled to host our neighbours and partners to learn more about their work as well as provide an update on our development.”
