First-time buyers Claudia Mirci and her husband Claudio di Vittorio used Help To Buy to purchase a stylish three bedroom apartment at London Square Staines Upon Thames after renting a home in Wimbledon.
The couple and their two year-old son moved in at the end of last year.
We were really keen to get on the property ladder and we went to view the development. We saw our lovely top floor apartment with a large balcony and it was love at first sight! The rooms are spacious, compared to many others we have viewed. There was nothing we liked as much as our apartment. The building is very smart, the gardens are attractive and we have amazing views from our home day and night. We had an amazing view of the New Year’s Eve fireworks!
The buying process was very straight forward and we were very impressed by the support and nice touches throughout from the London Square sales staff.
I work for a large company in Egham and our son attends a nursery nearby, so Staines-upon-Thames is the ideal location for us. My husband Claudio works in the City and the station is just five minutes’ walk from our home and his commute time is only 15 minutes longer than it used to be living in Wimbledon. The journey on the train is far more pleasant for him than travelling on a packed tube. He also needs to be close to Heathrow, which is a bus journey away.
Claudia and her family make the most of the many facilities in the area.
During summertime, we love swimming at Heron Lake, which is between Staines and Wraysbury. We are also scuba divers and freedivers and there is a diving lake at Wraysbury too. We also enjoy the long walks and runs with the buggy along the Thames at Staines. We are really enjoying living here.
