Site manager Keith May, who works for residential developer London Square, has been crowned regional winner for the London region in the NHBC Pride in the Job Awards 2015, for his work at London Square Fulham - an impressive collection of luxury townhouses, ranging in size from three to five bedrooms, set behind two grand arches in the heart of fashionable Fulham.
These awards are known as ‘the Oscars of the House Building Industry’, and for 35 years have been rewarding the best site managers nationwide, delivering the high quality homes. Keith was selected from around 15,000 UK site managers, and was one of 26 winners at a ceremony held in Brighton.
NHBC is the UK’s leading new-home warranty provider. Mehban Chowdery, NHBC Regional Director, congratulated Keith on his win: “NHBC Pride in the Job Awards recognises the hard work it takes to build high quality homes and rewards the excellence these awards uncover. Last year NHBC registered over 145,000 new homes, site managers play an important role in delivering these. And by adding a competitive element to house building, recognising exceptional site managers like Keith, Pride in the Job promotes continuous improvement in the quality of new homes, year on year, for homeowners and their families to enjoy.
“I have visited hundreds of sites, and to reach this level of the competition means without question you have to be the elite of this industry. Keith is building homes of a very high standard, and is worthy of the title London’s Regional winner in the Medium Builder category. At NHBC we believe that recognising the workmanship of the best site managers plays an important role in bringing high quality homes to consumers, creating homes we are proud to live in.”
Keith May, site manager at London Square, said: “I am delighted to win this award. Outstanding site management is crucial in our plan to deliver award-winning developments on time and to budget, so I take great pride in knowing that our hard work is being recognised by one of the foremost industry bodies.”
