Throughout February, the London Square Croydon team was thrilled to host their “An Evening with…” series of events. They sourced some of the best local independent businesses to showcase some of the best of Croydon that residents will be able to enjoy when they move into the development. Each event celebrated the talent and creativity that is at the heart of this vibrant town, and we are proud to be a part of the £5.25 billion regeneration that is already underway.
The first event in the series was “An Afternoon With…Knight Frank Finance” which provided valuable advice for those looking to secure a mortgage, followed by a live music performance from Josh Robinson, a talented local singer whom locals often enjoy on the high street where he regularly busks. Check him out on Instagram @joshrobinson.music
Next up was "An Evening With…Mr Fox" who hosted a hands-on Cocktail Masterclass that allowed our guests to learn the art of mixology from the experts and sample their creations which included a show-stopping Martini. You might bump into us again at Mr Fox with those tasty cocktails - we are certainly going to be trying to make them at home. Visit their website mrfoxcroydon.co.uk
Our next two events took on a creative spin with a unique Botanical Tile-Making Workshop by Sasha Tishkov and Ola Hincapie, who are currently designing the sculpture that will be installed in the new St Michael’s Square that London Square are building. Guests enjoyed creating beautiful tiles, using leaves and flowers from the local area to imprint onto the tiles and paint to create some interesting designs and patterns.
For our final event we hosted "An Evening With...First Floor Space" who put on a creative art workshop alongside delicious cheese & wine. Guests were able to relax and showcase their artistic flair whilst tasting delicious cheese with specially paired wine from local favourite Italian restaurant, Basil & Grape.
