Founder and Chief Executive
At the height of the recession in 2010, former Barratt regional chairman Adam Lawrence identified a clear opportunity for a well-capitalised developer to maximise the potential of the London residential property market – and launched London Square.
With over 25 years’ experience in the industry, Adam provides astute and agile leadership to a team of more than 180 staff, with land, construction, production and sales and marketing divisions working from its headquarters in West London.
Chief Financial Officer
Responsible for all aspects of financial governance, Scott has an outstanding track record. With over 25 years’ experience he has managed over £2 billion of debt and equity transactions, in addition to working at board level for a wide variety of companies across industries including technology, healthcare and financial services.
Chief Operating Officer
Responsible for the development and implementation of future strategy for all areas of production, delivery and sales. With more than 25 years’ experience in the property industry, Mark began his career as a quantity surveyor. He progressed to partner and director level roles at Turner & Townsend and Berkeley Homes, then joined Shanly Homes as a regional MD in 2006 before becoming Residential Managing Director.
Finance Director
A Chartered Accountant with over 16 years’ experience, Dave Kierney joined London Square in 2014 to establish the Financial Planning and Analysis Team. Promoted to Financial Director in 2021, Dave is responsible for financial forecasting and reporting, working closely with the operational team to ensure business objectives are met and compliance is maintained at every level of the business.
Partnerships Director
Daren Nathan is responsible for building London Square’s strategic partnerships with housing associations, local authorities and government agencies, forging relationships to help housing providers and public bodies to maximise the value from their assets through residential development and also to help local authorities to generate cross-subsidy funding to provide much-needed new homes.
Managing Director
Responsible for the delivery of all London Square sites in the northern region of Greater London, including major mixed use regeneration schemes delivering homes of all tenures.
Jo joined London Square at the height of the pandemic in 2020 as Sales and Marketing Director. She was promoted to Group Sales and Marketing Director the following year, leading the team to achieve record results during a most challenging period in the market.
Construction Director
Andy is responsible for construction, operations, quality control and customer care, ensuring a first class experience for each customer throughout their journey. Following a 24-year career at Barratt Developments, he has been involved with a range of significant projects in London including Visage in Swiss Cottage and the Stonegrove Estate in Edgware.
Development Director
With over 25 years’ experience in the property industry spanning construction, technical and development roles, Mark champions innovative planning and design solutions for all London Square sites. He joined as a founding director in 2010 having previously been responsible for numerous award-winning schemes at Barratt West London.
Land Director
Max is responsible for sourcing and securing a range of opportunities to ensure a supply of land for London Square’s future developments, pursuing land that fits the needs of the business.
Specialising in negotiation, Max has a wealth of property knowledge, with over 10 years’ experience working at London Square, having progressed from Land Buyer to Land Director.
Managing Director
Sean is responsible for the construction and operational side of London Square’s South Region.
With over 25 years of experience in the residential sector, Sean spent 12 years as production director at Berkeley Homes and, before that, at Ballymore, where he was UK construction director.
Technical Director
Matt has been with London Square since it was founded in 2010. He is responsible for ensuring consistent, robust technical design across all developments in the London Square portfolio. With over 25 years’ experience working across a wide range of diverse, technically challenging London developments, with Crest Nicholson, Taylor Woodrow and Barratt London, Matt brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the role.
Development Director
Ricardo is responsible for identifying, evaluating and securing land. With over 17 years’ experience in the residential development industry, Ricardo joined London Square from Redrow Homes, where he specialised in the delivery of major regeneration and mixed-use projects.
Head of Land
Hugo is responsible for sourcing and acquiring land across the South region for London Square and its independent affordable housing provider, Square Roots.
With an extensive track record in land acquisition in Greater London, Hugo has worked for Barratt West London, Barratt London, Linden Homes and A2 Dominion.
