Founded in 2010, the vision for the brand was to create a property developer across the Capital and Greater London like no other. A developer that was quintessentially about London, yet enabling each development to tell the story of its neighbourhood through its individual personality.
Today, London Square has over 20 first-class developments. Each a testament to our expertise in taking complex sites and providing creative and clever solutions to maximise their potential. We are proud to challenge convention and to leverage our ability to take advantage of opportunities on behalf of our customers who inspire every part of our process. Combining our collaborative and innovative approach to design, build and customer service with sustainability; creating places and communities where people really want to live, now and in the future.
Wherever London Square builds, we seek to play an active part in the local community, helping charities, supporting small businesses, schools and organisations in the area.
Projects supported include assisting The Bridge community groups to apply for the Co-op's food share and grant funding scheme, helping them get a £25,000 grant. We hosted an exhibition by emerging artists as well as art class, for customers and residents with The Tannery Arts charity, who will move into purpose-built studios and gallery space at London Square Bermondsey.
We were 2022 title sponsor for London Square Open Gardens Weekend organised by the London Gardens Trust, which campaigns to project green spaces and landscapes.
The design of our developments also takes into account the local and global considerations for the environment to provide sustainable impact. At Tadworth Gardens a natural corridor became central to the scheme and we also sponsored a competition by the Surrey Wildlife Trust. At Bassetts Pond in London Square Orpington, A Site of Special Scientific Interest, we worked with ecologists to enhance the habitat for great crested newts.
