Award-winning housebuilder London Square is celebrating its 100th completion, less than two years ago since it launched its first development at London Square Wimbledon Village. Founded in 2010, London Square has already sold out at schemes across the capital, including Wimbledon, Leonard Street and Ruislip, all within the last 18 months. At its current developments, over 60 per cent of homes have been sold at both London Square Fulham and London Square Eastcote. London Square has an exciting pipeline of new developments in 2014-2015, with schemes in Richmond, Putney and Teddington. 28 year old Amy Burton is the 100th buyer to complete on her home with London Square. Amongst the growing ranks of “generation rent” workers, Amy feared that she would never be able to jump on the housing ladder or find an attractive, well designed first home within budget. Amy has now been able to purchase a one bedroom starter home at London Square Ruislip. Amy comments:
“I am proud to be London Square’s 100th buyer as they are a fantastic company. I spent a lot of time looking for the right property but getting my foot on the ladder at London Square Ruislip has meant that I’ve been able to buy a lovely flat, much larger than those I looked at in other parts of London. Buying such a high quality, new build property was a great option for a first-time buyer like me.”
London Square Ruislip is typical of a London Square development, with its traditional vernacular in a quiet and tranquil landscaped setting, conveniently located for transport links and local amenities. Amy, who works in Corporate Affairs for an FMCG company in Richmond, continues:
“I love living at London Square Ruislip. It’s particularly great to have the underground station right on my doorstep as it means I can travel into London in around 30 minutes and get to work in an hour.”
All 61 properties at London Square Ruislip are now sold, but London Square has recently launched a development in nearby Eastcote. First-time buyers are now interested in buying at this stylish collection of one, two and three bedroom apartments, set beyond private gates just off Eastcote High Street. The development is also perfectly positioned just 300 metres from Eastcote underground station, offering convenient transport links into central London. Rebecca Littler, Sales and Marketing Director of London Square, said:
“Welcoming our 100th buyer in less than two years is a fantastic achievement and is testament to the success of London Square. Building homes that people really want to live in, in convenient and sought-after locations, is what London Square is all about. We look forward to reaching our next important milestone and celebrating our 1000th completion.”
