London Square always invests in the areas where we are building new communities and neighbourhoods – delivering lasting social impact which will make a tangible difference to local people and the economy.
At London Square Croydon, where 240 high quality new homes are being created, with 55 per cent affordable homes, London Square has provided significant investment back into the town, by investing in and supporting the growth of the local supply chain and businesses.
Our impact can be seen in the following numbers:
London Square worked with Croydon Voluntary Action, in partnership with Croydon Association for Young Single Homeless, Croydon Commitment and Croydon Ways2Work to host a Meet the Employers event. It was aimed at young people aged 16-25 at risk of homelessness and provided a great opportunity to meet recruiters, learn about the opportunities available and talk to prospective employers.

London Square Croydon comprises 240 new homes in two attractive landmark brick buildings, with 55 per cent affordable homes, a mix of social rent and shared ownership, as well as homes for private sale. London Square is working closely with Develop Croydon and Clarion Housing Group to build the new destination next to West Croydon station.
The £90m scheme designed by award-winning Assael Architecture, will feature 947 m2 of commercial space, with retail and offices at street level and the new piazza opening up views to the listed St Michael and All Angels Church. Pedestrian links will also be created to the station and new shopping centre. The development forms a major part of the West Croydon Masterplan, creating a new gateway to the town centre. The first residents will move in later this year.
