This week, three talented Year Four pupils from Nishkam School, have had their artwork unveiled as the new design for the site hoarding at London Square Isleworth. As part of an art competition, every pupil in Year Four was invited by London Square to submit an entry on the theme of ‘What I love about Isleworth’. The three winning entries, by Jind Matharoo, Anirai Bindra and Zahraa Sharif-Younis, were judged by the developer as best encapsulating the appeal of living and going to school in Isleworth and will now be displayed on the site hoarding until building is completed. Each child was awarded an art set as a prize, to encourage further creative endeavors. Becky Boden, sales manager at London Square Isleworth, said: “We were really impressed with the creativity of the entries and it was a very tough job to just pick three winners. We are very grateful to this talented group of young artists for embellishing our hoarding design.” Funmi Alder, Headteacher at Ofsted rated Outstanding Nishkam School, said: “The children have had a fantastic time working on their entries to the competition and the three winners are delighted that their artwork is now on public display.”
