On Saturday 4 April, London Square and Teddington Together are co-hosting a free family Easter Egg Hunt in the centre of Teddington; an event supported by local businesses on the town’s historic High Street. The hunt is designed to bring together the local community over the bank holiday weekend, increasing footfall in the town centre and providing a fun, free activity for local families. The hunt will start from Elmfield Gardens, outside Harlequin House, where participants will collect a clue sheet from a staffed gazebo. The trail will run along both sides of the High Street, ending at London Square Teddington on Waldegrave Road, where successful egg hunters will be given a chocolate egg. All clues will be found in the window displays of local businesses along the High Street and Waldegrave Road. Completed clue sheets will also be entered into a prize draw to win a family day out at Hampton Court Palace, with the winner to be selected at a later date. London Square, founded in 2010, specialise in developing homes which reflect the aspirations of the capital’s residents. London Square Teddington is the award-winning developer’s latest development – a smart, traditional residential square of eight apartments and 18 houses in the heart of Teddington. Houses and apartments were released for sale on 28 February at the London Square sales office on Waldegrave Road. The sales office is now open seven days a week and apartments start from £545,000 and townhouses from £1,325,000. Teddington Together is a committee of local independent traders and businesses committed to organising seasonal community events to bring together the town and help to boost local business. Rebecca Littler, Sales & Marketing Director at London Square, comments: “With London Square Teddington now open on Waldegrave Road, London Square is now very much a part of the Teddington community and is thrilled to be able to support local business and provide activities for families living nearby; families who may well make London Square Teddington their home in the future.” Bhavna Patel, chairwoman of Teddington Together, comments: “Teddington High Street retains an old-fashioned village feel, with long-standing independent businesses sitting beside well-recognised brands. Events such as this year’s Easter Egg Hunt encourage our locals to shop at home, consequently contributing to the value and quality of the produce on offer on our High Street. We are delighted that London Square is committed to working with us to bring together the local community.” The Easter Egg Hunt runs from 10am -4pm on Saturday 4 April, starting at Elmfield Gardens. Entry is free of charge.
