We were delighted to host a ‘Meet the neighbours’ BBQ' at London Square Greenwich on Saturday 30th July.
Residents enjoyed a sizzling summer barbecue as well as drinks to celebrate the opening of the communal courtyard.
The BBQ marked the completion of the stylish collection of apartments in the sleek Modernist building and was an opportunity to welcome to all the new residents who have moved into their apartments in the heart of Greenwich.
As well as a high number of residents joining, London Square's Development Director Sanjay Sharma was in attendance, along with Pat Slattery, Councillor for Greenwich Park ward for Royal Borough of Greenwich.
A delicious spread of barbecue food was served, including produce provided by new residents Martin and Bryony Heap, who own Heap's Gourmet Sausages Farm Shop & Deli, in Greenwich town centre. (See case study).
We were particularly thrilled with the feedback from residents on the day who were thankful to London Square for hosting an opportunity to meet their neighbours and support the building of a community within the development.
“It was a lovely event for the residents, including one who joined us on the day she moved in. It was a great opportunity for people to meet their neighbours and encourage a sense of community, which is at the heart of the ethos of London Square.”
