That's the thinking behind Matcha, Money & Mortgages, a new event taking place at London Square Bermondsey that swaps traditional property presentations for something far more relaxed: good coffee-shop energy, honest conversation and practical advice from people who spend their lives helping others navigate the path to homeownership. The event has been positioned as an experience-led alternative to traditional property events, blending lifestyle and culture with accessible conversations about money, mortgages and buying in London. 

Guests will begin the morning with a hands-on matcha-making session before settling in for a live discussion exploring the questions that so many London renters are quietly asking themselves. How much deposit do I really need? Is buying completely out of reach? At what point should I speak to a mortgage adviser? And what might life as a homeowner in London actually look like? 

Leading the conversation are property and finance experts Tayo and Antoinette of Brickz With Tipz, bringing practical advice, real-life experience and an opportunity for attendees to ask questions in an informal setting.  

Set within the vibrant surroundings of Bermondsey, the event offers the chance to explore one of London's most exciting neighbourhoods while gaining a clearer understanding of the homebuying journey. Whether you're actively saving, researching your options or simply curious about what buying could look like, the aim is straightforward: to help attendees feel more informed, more confident and better equipped for whatever comes next.
