Award-winning residential developer London Square has acquired a prime development site at 100 New Kings Road in Parsons Green with a projected GDV of over £30 million.
The 0.2 acre site, a former office building, has been acquired from New Kings Road (Jersey) No.1 Ltd with planning permission to provide a new residential scheme with 25 private apartments, as well as a separate retail unit. Work is due to start on site in March 2014.
Brian Betsy, Managing Director of London Square, said: “This is our second site in the Fulham area and reflects our interest in this part of west London. This site will contribute to our expanding £1 billion portfolio and illustrates our appetite for more sites in good locations. The leafy green neighbourhood of Parsons Green is one of the capital’s most sought after addresses, with designer fashion shops, fine dining restaurants, health clubs and delicatessens, blending smart village charm with chic city living.”
London Square has also recently embarked on the construction of a £130million residential square in Farm Lane in Fulham.
100 New Kings Road is close to the upmarket shopping destinations of Chelsea, Sloane Square and Knightsbridge and a short drive to central London, the West End and the City. Parsons Green underground station is close by and there is a choice of excellent underground, rail and bus links to the heart of the capital and first-class connections to London City Airport, London Heathrow and London Gatwick. The area also boasts a selection of leading private prep and secondary schools.
