CONTACTAward-winning residential developer London Square visited 30 pupils from Year Three at Streatham Wells Primary School on Wednesday (25 May) to deliver an interactive workshop on building site Health & Safety. The school is just under a mile from London Square Streatham Hill, an exciting new development on Streatham High Road*. The pupils, aged seven to eight, received a Health & Safety induction and were given high visibility jackets and hard hats to wear for the session and to keep as a souvenir of the day. The London Square construction team taught the children about the hazards they should look out for around heavy machinery, assisted by construction industry mascot, Ivor Goodsite. Martyn Fennell, Project Manager at London Square Streatham Hill, said: “Site safety is of paramount importance to us at London Square and it is crucial that children living and going to school near building sites are aware of the hazards from a young age.
