This year London Square has proudly sponsored Christmas light displays in Richmond, Teddington, Isleworth and Orpington - helping to foster a great community spirit in towns where the award-winning developer is creating new homes.
Councillor Pamela Fleming, Richmond Council Cabinet member, paid tribute to the support of London Square. She said: "Every year Richmond's independent businesses make a great effort to bring some sparkle to the town for Christmas, but the main High Street remains unfestively dark. This year thanks to London Square's swift response and generous offer of sponsorship, other businesses have followed suit and Richmond has been transformed. The lights are a real incentive for people to come and shop in the town. They look fantastic and thank you London Square for helping to make it possible"
In addition to sponsoring Christmas lights in Richmond, London Square has supported the annual carol service organised by the Holly Lodge Centre charity, based in Richmond Park, and created a charity Christmas card to generate funds for The Royal Star & Garter Homes charity, which was based until 2013 in the magnificent Grade II listed building at the top of Richmond Hill, The Star and Garter, currently being converted into 86 magnificent apartments.
