London Square is delighted to be supporting the 2018 Metro Blind Sport Tennis Doubles Tournament at the Islington Tennis Centre. On 11 February, a number of visually impaired individuals will partake in a tennis tournament with the use of unique sound tennis balls. Metro Blind Sport is a London based charity, with the aim to open doors to sport for all vision impaired people, regardless of age or sporting ability.
Situated just off Caledonian Road, around the corner from London Square Caledonian Road, Islington Tennis Centre hosts the Metro Blind tennis sessions twice bi-weekly. London Square hopes that their involvement and support in the charity will support their long term goals of opening up sport to more visually impaired individuals. More information on the Blind Tennis club can be found on the Metro Blind Sport website.
