Last night, the prestigious champagne house Pol Roger came to The Star and Garter for an evening of guided wine tasting. Cassidy Dart, Master of Wine, introduced each champagne to the group, detailing the processes needed to create the individual blends, and offered each type to the group. On offer to taste for guests were Pol Roger Pure Extra Brut, Pol Roger Brut Reserve Non-Vintage, Pol Roger Brut Rose 2008 and Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2008.
